With the change in the standard rate of Vat we have provided some information to help people with changing the vat rates on their tills.

Samsung ER4615	Insert the key marked P into the mode lock. Turn the mode lock to the P position. Using the numeric buttons enter the VAT number (1 - 4). Press the VAT button. Using the numeric buttons enter the VAT rate. i.e. 15.0% = 15.0000 Press SUBTOTAL. return the mode lock to the REG position.
Samstock	Select Maintenance from the main menu. Select Financial.  Select Vat Rates. Choose Standard Rate. Change the rate to 15.00 Changing the rate will ensurethe reports following the change- over are recorded with sales at the newer Vat rate. > Samstock has the ability to view historical sales. However, any historical report will be recalculated at the prevailing VAT rate. Therefore to print reports prior to the 1stDecember 2008, ensure the rate is temporarily changed back to the older rate before printing and returned to the newer rate immediately afterwards
ICR Touch	Select Programming. Select Program3. Select System Programming. Select Tax Table. Select Vat. Change the rate to 15.0000. Press Exit.
Samsung SER7000/ Samsung SPS100	Insert the key marked P into the mode lock. Turn the mode lock to the P position. Select TAXES. Select the Tax No for VAT ( eg TAX1). Change the rate to 15.0000 Press ESC.

Olympia 811/812	Insert the key marked PRG into the mode lock. Turn the mode lock to the PRG position. Using the numeric buttons enter the TAX number (1 - 4). Press the CARD button. Using the numeric buttons enter the VAT rate. i.e. 15.0% = 15.000 Press CASH/TOTAL. return the mode lock to the REG position.
